As we continue on at the auto expo, because there was so much ground to cover, and I only scratched the surface. Up next is Luxury Exotic Auto Display. We start off with a gorgeous Ferrari in a beautiful gray dress, then we find another one in a red drop top. Then another beautiful Ferrari coupe in a red dress. They are all very beautiful Italian girls!
Here is a beautiful Maserati SUV with beautiful curvy lines done with grace and great detail and I definitely must find me a dealership and get a closer look at this beautiful machine because this section was roped off so no one could get very close to them.
Now onto an Alfa Romeo looking sleek in its beautiful lines and a gorgeous black paint color. Then onto another Alfa Romeo on display, which is their entry into the SUV market with beautiful lines and not to bad looking in a beautiful white color. Only wish we could get a little closer to see what more they have for technology and other features.
Onto 2019 Range Rover Sports Supercharged Dynamic and from what it says on the dealer sheet, I may still be paying for this after I’m dead and buried! But it is a sharp looking vehicle and if I recall from what information I received online it shares other platform and body cosmetics from the Ford Explorer. But it shares its engine with Jaguar. This is definitely a higher priced Explorer and an upgrade from the Ford relatives.
Now on to another beautiful SUV right next to the Range Rover, the Jaguar F-pace. By the looks of this unique SUV, Jaguar has been doing their homework on trying to capture just the right style they wanted to capture the essence of Jaguar while trying to remain in luxury SUV category with other automotive manufacturers. Though the low roof-line towards the back looks more car-like, still sleek and appealing while remaining in the small SUV class.
Onto our next vehicle which is the BMW i8 COUPE electric vehicle with a 1.5 Litre 3 cylinder gas engine as a back up to recharge the batteries, in the i8, and battery unit has an 18-mile limit if you use the batteries ALONE. It’s sleek lines and its stunning looks that you cannot resist seeing it even in traffic. This one definitely eye-catching from a distance it’s easy to see with its distinctive looks. With its gull-wing doors, it is definitely an unmistakable car on the road today with its cheap price tag of $147.500 MSRP.
Now onto the BMW i3 is a cute little sedan and it is ALL ELECTRIC and it has the cutest little looks about it as with the i8 it has its own distinctive looks about it and it comes in fashionable paint schemes I’m sure when you go to the Dealer you can pick your color or order it. It has MSRP of just under $45,000 and it has just under a hundred and fifty-three mile (battery only) range and battery charged time of 6.5 hours at 220 Volt and a range of mpge (electric) of up to 129 miles in the city /106 on the highway. And that’s on a lithium-ion battery.
Now I’ve taken a look over at the Ford Exhibit to see if Ford has brought out the new Ford Ranger or Bronco. I guess the Bronco isn’t here and the Ranger DID make it to the show and it doesn’t look too bad for an introduction. Can’t get to close to it to get good side view pictures, there is a large crowd around it, I guess it would be expected for a new vehicle in an exhibit. It came in a four-door crew cab model with a short box bed and the FX4 suspension, not a bad looking pickup. They also had another one here on display in the blue two-tone paint scheme. Which I preferred more over the black
So most people have heard of the Salt Flats in Utah by the Great Salt Lake. They have made many movies out there, but they are most famous for racing. They also had displayed at the Auto Expo this year some BEAUTIFUL race cars that they take out there and one honor was to meet a couple of owners and the guys that do the mechanic work on these beauties. I also got permission from them to take pictures of these beautiful rides and post them on our blog and I told them about our blog so we can get the word out to help save the Salt Flats. Most people don’t have a clue that the Salt Flats are in danger of being washed away by rain and mud from surrounding mountains. And we are trying to get the word out to state leaders, Chris Stewart with the County SEAT to help save this great legacy from dying off and the Salt Flats disappearing forever.
We are definitely looking forward to the AutoRama that is coming in March! We will be covering that on our blog.
