Autorama (Part 3)

Autorama (Part 3)

April 15, 2019 Other car stuff

Continuing on our tour of vintage vehicles at the Autorama, we have a beautiful unrestored 1973 Chevrolet Camero LT in a stunning orange on black paint scheme and this beauty only had 9900 miles on her! This is a true gem to be really appreciated at this years Autorama. These are the ones I really appreciate the most. The ones that are complete restorations or the unrestored ones because it keeps my heart pumping and gives this guy the biggest grin my face!

Our next classic is a sexy blue 1968 Ford Mustang GT/CS. This car with its lines and curves makes the color of this blue, really stand out! An excellent restoration job! This one is titled: California Special.

Our next one, right next to that one, is a hot candy apple red 1969 Shelby GT 500 convertible. This one screams, “I’m a monster to be dealt with, so don’t even try it! Unless you want to lose your car!”

Now onto another Ford Mustang. 1967 Shelby GT 350 Fastback. This one is in a beautiful black with white rally stripes. This one is also sporting a monster power plant under its hood which I’m very sure it packs a lot of horsepower which tells me not to tangle with it if I ever see it on the road or track.

Oh goody! We found a restored GMC pickup! And her year is a 1952 and in a most gorgeous color of green! This 5 window GMC pickup has gotten a very detailed restoration job and it is a perfect beauty to my eyes. I would love to find the owner and shake his hand! Even seeing that he had the original inline 6 engine under its hood, made me giddy! That this owner had paid that much attention to every minuet detail looking like this truck would have looked, coming off the assembly lines. I give him an A+ and thumbs up!!!!!

Our next Chevy is this gorgeous soft yellow cream 1968 Chevrolet Camaro SS tribute with a 327 4-speed transmission done by a local company done right here in Salt Lake named BK Garage. Now we’ve been told by a lot of muscle car owners about this garage and all the great creations that have been built out of this place and it looks to me that my wife and I, need to go up and check this place out. Because this is one sharp Camaro!

The next car is a beautiful 1968 Ford Mustang. It is done in a striking green metallic with a gorgeous black interior also done by BK Garage. It is packing a heck of a lot of horsepower in its engine bay.

Our next Ford gem is a GORGEOUS 1963 Ford Galaxy Sedan and it is in the most GORGEOUS color of a bluish green! It has really fine detail to its engine and engine bay. This one has the looks to pass off as a great sleeper car and would be quite surprising to anyone that thinks they could kick its butt, would be quite surprised. This would be a great daily driver also.

Now going onto a classic monster 1975 Ford F-250 4×4 that would be great if there were ever a zombie apocalypse. While looking at this mean green machine, with its massive black aftermarket wheels, and its mean stance, I was getting scared just taking this picture. So I did take the picture and ran away.

Okay, our next find is a gorgeous highway cruiser! A 1958 DeSoto Firesweep. Looking at the gorgeous lines on this car, with her classic face and her swooping lines, and her large fins, this car looks like it’s moving while sitting still. If my information is correct that DeSoto was part of the Chrysler/Plymouth Corporation at one time. As you look at her lines and other details, you will see similarities in not only in body metal but also in underpinnings or other interior features and some parts will interchange between the Chrysler/Plymouth brand cars.
