Continuing from where we left off from part 1. Next up we have the new and seductive-looking Chevy Corvette C-8. This particular model is a mid-engine car. The power rating is 490 to 495 hp comes from a 6.2 L V-8 is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission.
When GM was putting it through its stages of testing, they were struggling with the tensile strength of the frame because of the super torque of these new engines. I am happy to see that they are bringing back the vintage colors from the past muscle cars and this looks great with the edgy body!
The next vehicle I looked at was the 2021 F-150 4×4 Supercrew. Of course, this is America’s favorite truck for 40+ years. As you can tell the styling is still Ford oval perfect and offers a lot of options for the price tag and this particular truck has a 3.5 L V-6 Ecoboost mated to ten-speed automatic with towing mode. I have test drove one of these trucks and I can see why it’s America’s best-loved truck for over 40+yrs.
The next vehicle is also a Ford. It’s their Expedition Max. This 2021 large SUV looks cool in black! These SUVs came out with Ecoboost engines also. I was impressed with these when they first came out with a greater towing capacity with a 6-cylinder engine. It was more towing capability than the Tahoe or the Suburban in that SUV class.
The 2022 Ford F-150 Raptor is a seriously built truck for those seriously adventure-minded people who need a vehicle that can do it all for them. This truck can be driven on the blacktop, dirt road, desert sand, camping, or anything else you can dream up and do it all in a comfortable cabin & your gear while getting you there!
Our next entry in the Ford showroom is a Ford Edge Titanium SUV which has incredible styling and a very functional vehicle inside and out that works well for students, young families, and baby boomers alike.
We are still with the Fords, we have a new introduction to the Ranger line. This one is sporting the new option package called the “Tremor”. This option package comes with rally striping from front to back and gray-painted wheels, running boards, a host of other interior options, and a more powerful engine. I LOVE the appearance of this new sporty truck package!
Onward to Ford’s mega-beast! This 2022 F-350 Single Rear Wheel 4×4 Crewcab XL. This is one big monster of a truck! This one is very appealing to this “Bowtie” guy! I am also very impressed with what this truck comes with. A 7.3 L V-8 and a 10spd automatic tranny.
Wrapping up the car show this year we take a quick peek at some Exoctic, Euro imports, Vintage muscle, and Off-road 4x4s for you all to enjoy.
